Welcome!
This is your go-to place for perspective, tips, and inspiration to create more balance, stress less, and be your best—even with all the demands and messiness of everyday life.
Want More?

Let’s talk about getting better at flexing in your day or week.

In busy everyday life—where each minute can carry its own set of demands—feeling balanced can often feel like walking a tightrope.

To flex is to adjust and adapt as needed to your week, your day, or even the next five minutes… especially when the unexpected happens.

It allows you to navigate life’s unpredictability with more calm and ease.

And it will feel wobbly at times.

Learning to flex is about reprioritizing as necessary, getting closer to the heart of what really matters.

It’s about compartmentalizing and being fully present in the current moment.

It’s about staying centered and steady even when things feel hard.

And granting yourself grace when you don’t.

This requires mindfulness and self-awareness to flow better with daily life and the messier moments that happen.

It also requires space in your calendar.

It’s pretty hard to be flexible when you’re scheduled every. single. minute.

This has been on my mind the past week, with the four-year anniversary of my mom’s death, kids and unexpected hospital visits (everyone’s okay!)…

And big expectations of what I would get done, with lower energy to see it all through.

Listen to this video on where you can give yourself more space in your calendar and grace with yourself too.

I recorded it just before wrapping up work to spend the afternoon with my dad—even though part of me felt a little guilty that I “should” stay and catch up.

When we’re better able to flex in the moment and ride the waves of our day or week, we can reduce our stress levels and feel more balanced within.

We start to see each minute not as another source of stress, but as a valuable part of our experience.

And we’re more likely to show up as our best selves or whatever the moment needs.

Where can you give yourself more space and grace this week?

I’m here cheering you on!
