Choosing balance over burnout.

I recently had the pleasure of speaking at TEDxRegina’s pop-up event on the topic of Balance over Burnout.

I put my name in at the last minute and was selected as a finalist. It was a three-minute talk to share a big idea.

My big idea is really a new take on an old idea.

There’s a kind of stress and tiredness you can’t just fix with rest.

The kind that comes from always trying to keep up.

From doing too much of what doesn’t really matter.

From giving so much of yourself, even when you have little left to give.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.
