The Real Great Resignation

The Real Great Resignation

September 09, 20223 min read

You have likely said to yourself at some point "enough is enough!"

You want to feel happier, be present and enjoy your family and personal time, and still do great work.

But that feels impossible with the sheer volume of demands, emails, and expectations coming at you every single day.

It’s. Too. Much.

How many times a day do you say or think those words? Or that you are “fine” (when you really aren’t)?

And if you’re anything like my clients, you’re probably constantly in your head about work and saying words like “I’m too busy” or “I don’t have time” all too often at home.

Especially to your kids. Feeling guilty about the message that it sends them about your priorities and lack of presence.

Listen, I get it. It IS a real challenge to juggle it all.

Especially, over the past couple of years, there’s an increase in the sheer volume of everything you have to deal with - and even in areas where you’re doing well, there’s pressure to be even better.

More projects. More people to manage. More social time. More kids’ activities. More more more.

I’ve been there. And what I want to share with you today is simple enough that it’s actually doable.

But this isn’t something that time management or prioritization or boundaries alone are going to fix. It goes much deeper than that.

Instead of trying to fix everything in your life or get it all done so you can be happy and "have it all", we need to come to it completely BACKWARDS and start by working on. . . are you ready?

We work on your happiness first with your mindset and creating space for what really matters to you, at work and at home.

Feeling less overwhelmed and enjoying your days more then creates the energy and space that fuels the other changes you’re going to make.

You literally think and operate from a new level.

Now, you’ve heard of the great resignation? Of course, it's the term commonly used to talk about folks quitting their jobs.

There is another kind of great resignation that happens BEFORE people quit.

It’s when you feel resigned to your circumstances - where you don’t think you have a choice because of the sheer volume and urgency of everything you’re dealing with.

And if you have even a few minutes a week where you’re starting to feel this way, you need to take action NOW.

Because that sense of being resigned has its own momentum and it can be even harder to get back on track with what you want for your life.

In a new free training I did back in June, I share with you what I’ve distilled both through my own personal experience with overworking and struggling with the daily grind and now use to help clients to become more confident, balanced leaders.

I hope you're ready to finally decide to stop feeling so exhausted, overwhelmed and sacrificing what really matters to you.

The best part? You too WILL perform even better and lead even stronger. It really can be a win-win.
