Calm Your Mind, Balance Your Life

Calm Your Mind, Balance Your Life

October 03, 20232 min read

Are you constantly worried about what other people think, overwhelmed with all the to-dos racing in your mind, or simply feeling mentally "messy"?

If so, you are not alone and there is nothing wrong with you!

Especially if you have a lot on your plate, you're feeling exhausted or you're going through a tougher time.

But that doesn't mean that you have to live with such a busy mind. You can 'turn down the volume' on the worry, guilt and overthinking.

You can learn to calm your mind so you can be (and feel) happier, more present AND balanced in your life.

I am reminded what a difference this makes on week's like this one, where it's the two year anniversary of my mom's death coming up, myself and my kid are sick, and I am feeling more "mentally messy".

I am even more mindful on week's like this to do the things that help me remain calm and present. It's not perfect by any means (we are human after all), but much better than it would have been if I didn't learn how to calm my own mind.

To be present even when life is feeling kinda crazy. To let go of the worry about what people think (a daily thing for me). To enjoy the small everyday moments.

Creating balance in your life is more than boundaries, priorities and saying no. It comes with learning how to quiet your mind, let go of worry and stress, and be present in your everyday life and moments.

And better navigate the more challenging moments.

Have a wonderful week. Even if it's feeling a little messier than usual ;-).
