Are You Secretly Wishing You Were More Confident?
Do you secretly wish that you could be more confident in yourself?
You want to speak up in meetings without your heart racing, feeling anxious or end up not saying anything at all.
You want to feel sure in your decisions instead of always overthinking and second-guessing yourself.
You want to come across as a leader who knows what they are doing instead of feeling like you’re putting on an act.
“Was this good enough? Did I say the right thing? What if I can’t do this?” constantly runs through your mind until you receive feedback that you are hitting the mark.
And this constant battle in your mind is the big secret that you don’t want to tell anyone because you think you need to look like you have it together.
The truth is NO ONE feels 100% confident all of the time - so you are not alone!
In fact, most people often wonder if they know what the heck they are doing (me included). The doubts and fears simply pop up for everyone. It’s just human nature.
In order to have real confidence in ourselves, we have to understand that our confidence WILL come and go. How we navigate that is what makes all the difference.
Confidence is a skill you can build and it’s a CHOICE you can make in how you think about yourself and your own abilities at any moment.
You can speak up and say what’s really on your mind even though your heart is racing.
You can honor your boundaries even though you might worry about what people will think.
You can feel calm and balanced even though you are doing something that scares you.
You can trust in your ability to figure things out even when you feel like you don’t know what the heck you are doing!
And once you truly internalize that this is a choice within you, that’s when you can have real confidence in yourself.
If you are done with secretly wishing to be more confident and ready to become the confident, balanced leader you envision . . .
For the next few days, you can schedule a Balanced Leader Breakthrough Session, and we will explore what it will take for you to have more confidence in yourself so you can show up as the leader you deep down want to be.
